Support: the website version
For the copy you downloaded from this website. We sold you the licence, so we can help with all of it — the licence file, refunds and your data. Bought through an app store instead? See the other versions.
Your licence file
-
It arrives by email, from support@itfanatic.com, usually within a
minute of paying — a small
.licfile attached to the message. - To unlock the app, open About → Import license… and choose that file. That is the whole activation: the app checks the licence on your computer and never contacts us.
- It has not arrived? Check your spam folder first, then write to support@itfanatic.com and we will send it again.
- Lost it? Write to us from the address you bought with and we will send it again.
- One licence covers all your own computers, Windows, macOS and Linux alike, and every 1.x release. It also unlocks the Microsoft Store version of the app. The guide's which computers your purchase unlocks has the details.
Refunds, receipts and invoices
Within 30 days of buying, for any reason and without justifying it: write to support@itfanatic.com, and Stripe returns the money to the card you paid with. The full terms are in the refund policy, and German consumers also have the statutory right of withdrawal. Stripe is the seller of record and sends the receipt; for any question about it, write to the same address.
Updates
The app never checks for updates, so new releases are published on the updates page — the same page About → What's new online… opens. Install the new version over the old one; your licence, projects, names and captions all carry over.
Security warnings on first launch
Windows SmartScreen, and sometimes macOS, warn about a download they have not seen before. The user guide walks through both with screenshots, and every download is published with a SHA-256 checksum and a GPG signature on the downloads list if you would rather check the file yourself.
Your data
The app sends nothing to us. What we hold is the name and email address you bought with, because they are what the licence is issued to. To see it, correct it or have it deleted, write to support@itfanatic.com; the privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.
Bugs and feature requests
File them on the public tracker at github.com/bl305/privacyfirst_photo_organizer_support. It is public and permanent, so leave out your licence file, your order details and your email address, and check screenshots for faces, names and file paths first.
